Achal Nath Shivalaya Temple Jodhpur

Achal Nath Temple in Jodhpur is a famous Shiva temple constructed in 1531 by Nanak Devi. She was the queen of Rao Ganga. There is a water reservoir known as ‘Ganga Bawari’ located near the Shivling inside the shrine. It is a drinking water tank. Temple also in-houses the Garbha Griha, Mandap Bhavan, and Kirtan Bhawan which has the beautiful work of carved Chhitar stones.

Achal Nath Shivalaya construction completed on 21st May 1531. This old temple is a place of religious faith on Lord Shiva as the diety of people of Jodhpur.

West Indian Temple



West India or Western Bharat contains the Indian states Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra and union territories Daman & diu and Dadar & Nagar Haveli. There are many temples and pilgrimage places situated in west India and tourist from Indian continent and around the world used to visit these famous west India temples during their holiday in India. If we search in the history of these west India temples then we will easily find that these temples are built in different time period. East Indian Temple


Eastern part of India is well known for its ancient temples, shrines and pilgrimage places. Bullet Baba Jodhpur

Bullet Baba temple confirms Rajasthan as the land of faith as well as land of wonders too. Located in Chotila village of Pali district near Jodhpur, Bullet Baba temple is a temple plus memorial as well. Here a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle is worshipped.
The story behind the temple, according to locals a young man Om Singh Rathore (Om Banaji or Om Banna) son of a village leader, met an accident in 1991 by collasping his bullet motorcycle with a tree. After the accident, motorcyle was seized by local police and taken to the police station. But in the morning it was found in the accident spot. Cops again take it to police station and try tied with chains , empty its fuel tank but all things go waste. Cops couldn’t stop it from reaching to the accident spot.
As the news spread to other villages, people gather and built a memorial – a temple where Bullet motorcycle is worship. Now it is famously known as Bullet Baba temple. People nelieve that Om Banna helps distressed passers-by. Travellers stop here and bows their head at Bullet Baba feet.
The tree where accident occured, now getting offerings of bangles, scarves and rope.

North Indian Temple


India is very well known as the country of religions and has many temples, Dhams, Gurudwaras, Mosques, Churches and holy rivers. The temples in North India would be the most mainstream of the Hindu faith in India. Most of the North Indian temples have been designed in Nagara style temple architecture. The temples and literature, laying down rules and method of construction have been well preserved in Orissa. In the Nagara style architecture the temple structure consists of two buildings, one is the main shrine and the other mandapa. The main shrine is taller and the adjoining mandapa is shorter. The main difference between shrine and mandapa is the shape of Sikhara and the well shaped structure adds the height. In all the Hindu temples there is always the Kalasa situated at the top and the Ayudha or 


The temple architecture of India is mainly divided into two styles ie Northern Style and Southern style which has defined by the form and shape of the Shikhara of the temple and uniqueness of its decoration. In the south India style temples the shikhara tend to be made up of separate horizontal levels that reduce to form a rough pyramid. Each level is highlighted with miniature temple roof tops. The shikhara of the North India temples are resembles an upturned cone and decorated with miniature conical shikharas.
